Our primary field of research is the study and development of materials. We work with a large range of problems from biological materials to alloys. A key feature of our work is a focus on changes occuring on the nanoscale. We study, synthesize and characterize materials using a host of techniques with X-ray diffraction being a central tool common to all members of the section.
